TPL is the R&D unit of Tensorpunk, an audio software company. Building AI tools for our own work, we solved the problems every company running AI agents now hits: keeping an agent inside its limits, keeping its memory, and proving what it did. Those tools are live and in public use, and they reach well beyond audio.

Two engines now: AI music software already shipping to working musicians, and agent tools starting to draw enterprise and defense interest.

// The Company

The Company

Legacy software companies are bloated and slow. TPL is the opposite: a small, elite R&D unit that builds from scratch and ships fast enough to take ground from incumbents.

A small, modern builder can now take ground from incumbents that have held it for decades. That opening is wide open across creative software, AI tooling, and well beyond, and we are built to walk through it.

We build the future of audio and creative software, a programming language for AI agents called Retro, and the memory layer that took #1 on LongMemEval with Relay. We ship our own products on our own tools, and if it is not good enough for us, it does not ship.

Punk is in the name on purpose. We move fast, we answer to the work, and we obsess over design: world-class polish, backed by engineering depth most design-led companies never build.

Tensorpunk Audio

At its core, Tensorpunk is a serious audio software company. Its tools are already in the hands of Grammy-winning producers and artists, with the next wave of products launching this year. This is not bedroom-producer software, and the industry is not treating it that way.

Live · Rules

Retro

Sets the rules an agent must follow before it writes a line of code. A broken rule is caught up front, not discovered in the cleanup.

Relay

Gives agents a shared memory across every session, so the knowledge stays in the system instead of leaving with the person who had it.
